This was the very same government that would not allow any form of English patriotism to be displayed by the show of a St George flag\u201a in case it upset ethnic minorities\u201a eg; Pakistani Muslims. The local council admit they knew about it\u201a so what happens a few high ranking personnel resign\u201a and the Chief Superintendent of South Yorkshire bumbles out a form of apology for past events.
