Just when the figures and league tables are announced today of the under performing secondary schools in this country. Where are the teachers at the first sign of snow? At home because the head has closed the school\u201a who in her\/his wisdom decided it would be a good idea to live on the moors 10 miles away from her\/his place of work\u201a so informs the staff by email\u201a and puts an announcement on the school web or bloody facebook that we are shut\u201a leaving parents to pick up the pieces of having to cancel going into work themselves\u201a thus leaving a stain on their emplyoment record\u201a as the non parents make it into their place of work.
