Talking to a local policeman today who advises me that the EDL march on Bradford cost £1m of taxpayers money. The sting in the tale is that there were only 300 EDL members who turned up‚ but 1000 police were present‚ that is 3 police plus to every 1 EDL member. Utter scandal and over kill‚ and the top chief of the cops says this was money well spent. Well son where were you in 2001 when it cost Bradford a lot more‚ than money?
