If there was ever a more defining moment in politics two events happended today‚ no sorry three. The last MP to speak before the Mini-Budget announcement raised the issue of the standard of nursing in hospitals. This clearly had been an emotional moment with a connection that had been relevant to her. Her voice tremored and she was partly lost in tears. She was a Labour MP and for one moment hecklers started until they heard the distress in her voice‚ you could then hear a pin drop. In response with no notes David Cameron gave an impashioned response‚ which was in my opinion a defining moment of complete sincerity. You could feel the whole house take on board the comments and the complete professional and likeable man that Cameron is‚ his star was quickly shining. On the other hand Ed Balls in reply as Shadow Chancellor made such a gaffe of replying that he got so confused in his statement‚ he got things so mixed up to cause laughter in the house and squirming from fellow Labour MP’S and particularly Ed Milliband who could not believe what he was seeing and hearing from his No 2. This was another defining moment when if you ever needed any convincing who is capable of getting us out of Labours mess it was truely Osbornes nadir‚ and the Tory parties game winner with an own goal by the well named Mr Balls. It was truely embarrasing and must become a You Tube sensation.
