So we didn’t get the 2018 World Cup. Is it any wonder after the weeks events. We have to face up to facts‚ we are firstly the laughing stock of Europe in our tactics and belief that we are one of the worlds top teams. We have not won a tournament since 1966. We are inept and have to accept that‚ even emerging teams from Africa and Asia will probabaly beat us in the next tournament‚ if we qualify. So lets rejoice in the fact that in 2012 we can show the world we can put a good show on for the Olympics. After all we don’t have Russia’s gas suppply or Qatar’s oil for 2022. Smell something corrupt here?. Abranovich’s money will fund some of the new stadia and my guess is that he will have left Chelsea by 2012 to devote his energies in his homeland.
