Just a short note of congratulations to Sir Ranulph Fiennes who at the age of 65 has conquered Everest. This is a man who is from the generation that pushed the boundaries and to hell with health & safety. You ask what do I mean‚ well lets regress‚ on a previous exploration he contracted frost bite on his fingers and toes. So being the type of chap he is (British Bull dog)‚ he cut off his own offending fingers without bothering the national health. Can you imangine the young ones today doing that. Oh no they would need counselling for ever‚ and what’s more be encouraged to have it. Well done Sir Ralph‚ at last some cheery news‚ which on your return you should be elevated to some form of ambassador‚ in getting the turn around in outside activities‚ and to hell with the jobsworths assessing dangers in the playground.
