So there we have it‚ the captain of England’s football team has a father who is a drug dealer and a mother who is a convicted shop lifter. And if my memory serves me well‚ a certain few incidents have happened in the life of Mr J T which he should not be so proud of in the past. Is this really the best we can do as the football captain of England. Is it any wonder that our kids have no role models to look up to‚ or in this case assume this is a normal going on. No kids it is not normal. My football hero was a certain Bobby Moore. Mexico World Cup 1970‚ to distract him and have him put away‚ a put up jewellery theft was accredited to him‚ falsely of course‚ but just to get the great man out of the way‚ so another team could win the trophy. What happened‚ Mr Moore had his greatest game against Brazil and Pele‚ who went on to win it. Secondly he fought his biggest battle‚ cancer. He did it with dignity. I had the honour of meeting him one to one with an old football school coach of mine at a supermarket whilst BM was promoting the 1986 World Cup for Birds Eye. He tragically slipped away in 1993 quietly and without fuss. A true hero and role model to anyone‚ KIDS OR ADULTS. Mr Cappello‚ the next move is your’s.
