One of the first to parachute into Arnheim‚ he had personal tragedy having been divorced and losing two sons to suicide. However‚ who could forget the role of Guy Gibson‚ personified that you believed it was actually him. The stirring music‚ Lancaster bombers‚ and his dog named nigger‚ all from another time. To think the last of the airman alive today would see this fine country degrade into the state it is now must be soul destroying. We salute you Richard Todd.
