The more I read about Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott‚ the more I hear him speak about values mainly with regards to the IS Muslim problem. This website was set up in 2009 to remember the old values that this once fine country use to adhere to. English speaking people brought up in a mainly Christian country‚ teaching the right values in school‚ Sunday schools‚ youth clubs‚ scouts‚ girl guides and the Boys Brigade‚ etc. We have simply lost two generations of children who have missed out on this valuable early doctrine of life and mindset. We either have to return to these values or accept that the way of the world has changed for ever. My grandchild aged over 3 is encouraged to play out and explore and if he falls he hurts himself‚ the big point is that he learns in life these skills. He is not pampered like so many kids of the last 20 years in an education system that discouraged competition or failure. The world is full of competition and failure‚ that is life. The old values have to be brought back.
